Swiss Oncology and Hematology Congress (SOHC)

Disclosure of the funding

SOHC is an association according to Art. 60 of the Swiss Civil Code. The purpose of the SOHC is to foster the interests of oncology and hematology in general, particularly in Switzerland, and in particular to share knowledge and information about these specialist areas within the community, to the benefit of the patients. To this end, SOHC organises and hosts the “Swiss Oncology and Hematology Congress”. The SOHC is a non-profit organisation and does not pursue any commercial objectives.

The SOHC finances its activities through membership fees, sponsorship contributions, donations and income from the “Swiss Oncology and Hematology Congress”. Pharmaceutical funding is disclosed transparently. The independence of the SOHC is always guaranteed and is not compromised by contributions from third parties.

The SOHC relies on multi-sponsorship for its events/conferences through several independent corporate contributions in sponsor categories with transparent sponsorship criteria. Cooperation with the industry is documented and the funds received are disclosed on the SOHC website.

The annually renewed sponsorship complies with the applicable regulations, in particular the Ordinance on Integrity and Transparency in the Field of Therapeutic Products (TPITO), the SAMS guidelines and the Pharma Cooperation Code. These ensure that independence is maintained. Pharmaceutical companies have no influence on the scientific program. Their participation in events is limited. All speakers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
